Job Summary

The Tanner Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to other nursing staff. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
* Supervise and direct the work of other nursing staff
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
* Participate in multidisciplinary patient care planning conferences

Requirements

* Current Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
* Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
* ACLS certification within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab

Working Conditions

* Considerable physical effort - lifting, carrying, or handling medium-weight equipment, materials, or supplies most of the day
* Occasional physical effort with heavy objects (over 60 lbs.)
* Works in reaching or strained positions frequently
