About the Role

We are seeking a board-certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Van Nuys, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses with expertise and compassion.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Create personalized treatment plans that involve patients and their family members, fostering a collaborative approach to healthcare.
  • Initiate specialty referrals when necessary, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with management, other physicians, and staff to improve care delivery and service standards.
  • Closely work with the care team to identify and address care gaps, enhancing quality measures and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in healthcare.
  • Maintain compliance with billing and coding requirements, ensuring seamless interactions with practice management systems.
  • Provide on-call coverage within the primary care group, showcasing dedication to 24/7 patient care.
Education and Qualifications
  • Possess a degree from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
  • Graduate from an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
  • Hold a valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or be able to obtain one.
  • Hold a valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
  • Be board certified in Family Medicine, reflecting a commitment to ongoing professional development and expertise.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and productivity.

Incentive compensation based on performance and quality measures adds to the total remuneration package.

The comprehensive benefits package covers medical, vision, dental (including orthodontia), 401(k) with employer match, and CME allowance.
