Position:

We're seeking an entry-level Applications Engineer at our location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals and technical documents for prospective clients, covering various technologies, including design, pricing, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain our CRM system daily.
  • Ensure standard pricing structure is up-to-date.
  • Consult with the engineering department for non-standard applications.
  • Communicate with customers both internally and externally.
  • Communicate with suppliers.
  • Optimize product lines for specific technologies, balancing cost and technical perspectives. This includes researching new technologies and implementing them as applicable.
  • Review customer specifications.
  • Represent Blueprint Automation at relevant industry trade shows.
  • Travel up to 15% may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline. A combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
  • AutoCAD proficiency required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots preferred.
  • Experience with AB control platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Forward-thinking.
  • Strong networking capabilities, fostering the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Applicants must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
