We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for diagnostic scans and operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and efficient procedures.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required.
- Minimum one year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
- Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB – RT(N) or CNMT required.
- IV Credentialed and applicable state license required.
