At Shearer's Foods, we pride ourselves on producing a wide array of beloved snack products including chips, cookies, and popcorn. With a robust workforce of over 5,000 employees across 14 advanced manufacturing and distribution centers in North America, we are a significant player in the snack industry, processing over 800 million pounds of snacks annually.
Position: Brewster Maintenance Crib Attendant
Work Hours: 9am - 5pm
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
Ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, familiarity with industrial maintenance processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of incoming and outgoing parts from Brewster Maintenance stock rooms.
- Facilitate the distribution of necessary components for repair tasks.
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain oversight of company-owned maintenance tools and equipment.
- Serve as a resource for the maintenance department regarding information and documentation.
- Ensure the upkeep of equipment manuals and electrical schematics.
- Conduct searches for online manuals and compile necessary information from various sources.
- Maintain a current technical support contact list.
- Coordinate scheduling and communication for corrective maintenance tasks.
- Notify the Inventory Specialist of any inventory shortages.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the maintenance shop and storerooms.
- Assist in the rebuilding and repair of components.
- Coordinate the logistics for the shipping or pickup of outsourced repairs.
