Job SummaryWe are seeking a licensed veterinary technician to join our team. As a veterinary technician at Guardian Veterinary Specialists, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in the delivery of medical and surgical services.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient conditions
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
- Assist with anesthesia and pain management
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
- Licensed veterinary technician (LVT) or license eligible
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
