Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney to join our team at Softcom Systems Inc. as an Associate Attorney.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and the ability to handle complex case files from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing personal injury case files, including client communication, medical record review, and document preparation
  • Drafting and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses
  • Conducting legal research and reviewing medical records to support case development
  • Communicating with clients, expert witnesses, and medical providers to gather information and take depositions
  • Arguing discovery and dispositive motions in court
  • Documenting and updating case file status in our case management system
  • Collaborating with paralegals to ensure efficient case management
  • Participating in special projects and duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree from an accredited institution
  • Pennsylvania law license in good standing
  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, products liability, and/or medical malpractice
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, and products liability law
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
