Position Title: SAP GTS Architect

Work Arrangement: Hybrid in Plano, TX

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled Principal Architect with 17 to 20 years of extensive experience in SAP ERP GTS Customs Management, SAP ERP GTS Compliance Management, and SAP GTS. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Order to Cash Order Management and Finance & Accounting. This position entails leading intricate projects, ensuring smooth integration, and fostering innovation to align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and IT teams to define critical design decisions and business process flows.
  • Analyze and document requirements, offering optimal solutions to meet customer needs while standardizing and harmonizing current processes.
  • Design new solution extensions and contribute to the solution roadmap and implementation strategy, while assisting in the creation of solution documentation.
  • Engage in technology integration discussions and provide solutions to challenges.
  • Ensure accountability for meeting deliverables and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of SAP and S/4HANA best practices, with proven experience in implementing SAP within the Life Sciences sector.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements such as GMP and Export compliance.
  • Expertise in conducting solution demonstrations and presentations for customers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing SAP GTS, including Master Data Synchronization, Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management, and Intrastat Reporting.
  • Experience working with GTS integrated with ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proficient in Blueprint design and documentation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Adept at managing expectations with SMEs and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in S/4Hana Manufacturing (PP) and SAP S/4HANA-Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Manufacturing.
  • Strong background in system architecture within manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices and standards.
