Role Summary:
We are in search of a driven and skilled HR Generalist to become a vital part of our team in a manufacturing setting. The HR Generalist will be instrumental in overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership enhancement.
Key Duties:
Employee Relations:
- Act as the main resource for employee relations matters, offering support and advice to both employees and management.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee grievances, ensuring equitable enforcement of company policies.
- Promote a constructive workplace through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategies for talent management to attract and retain high-caliber professionals.
- Assist in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster employee development.
Leadership Enhancement:
- Assess leadership training needs and create programs to bolster leadership capabilities across the organization.
- Advise managers on best practices in leadership and employee management.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops aimed at promoting leadership growth and ongoing improvement.
HR Administration:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain precise and current employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee benefits management, including enrollment and claims resolution.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of HR experience, focusing on employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership development.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must have PeopleSoft experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
