Role Summary:

We are in search of a driven and skilled HR Generalist to become a vital part of our team in a manufacturing setting. The HR Generalist will be instrumental in overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership enhancement.


Key Duties:

Employee Relations:
  • Act as the main resource for employee relations matters, offering support and advice to both employees and management.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee grievances, ensuring equitable enforcement of company policies.
  • Promote a constructive workplace through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.

Talent Acquisition:
  • Manage the recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding.
  • Develop and execute strategies for talent management to attract and retain high-caliber professionals.
  • Assist in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster employee development.

Leadership Enhancement:
  • Assess leadership training needs and create programs to bolster leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Advise managers on best practices in leadership and employee management.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops aimed at promoting leadership growth and ongoing improvement.

HR Administration:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain precise and current employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee benefits management, including enrollment and claims resolution.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, focusing on employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership development.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must have PeopleSoft experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
