Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Operator to join our team. As a Class A CDL Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our wastewater, scrubber, carbon monitoring, and tank degassing equipment. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of project setup, preparation, and operation procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of project setup, preparation, and operation procedures for wastewater, scrubber, carbon monitoring, and tank degassing equipment.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues.
- Understand and comply with hazardous communications and chemical safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate operation records and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Develop a strong understanding of company vehicles, including logs, DVIR, and procedures.
- Assist with hazardous material transportation, bill of ladings, and associated paperwork.
- Perform vapor monitoring, calibration, record keeping, and maintenance tasks.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of company structure, resources, and communication lines.
- Gain a thorough understanding of monitoring carbon systems and site safety protocols.
Requirements
- 1 year minimum experience in the industry (or equivalent experience with GEM Mobile Treatment Services).
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Skilled and qualified in primary service line.
- Good equipment knowledge.
- Good communication skills, written and oral.
- Ability to perform work in enclosed (confined) space under close supervision.
- Pass an annual written examination during the annual review period.
- Possess and maintain a minimum CDL Class A license.
