About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. In this role, you will assist the Cook in preparing and serving meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in food preparation and service
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Follow established standards, safety, and quality guidelines
  • Provide positive and pleasant interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Food Handler's card required
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
