We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. This role is responsible for assisting the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in meal preparation and service
  • Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
  • Deliver food and trays to residents and staff
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Follow health standards and safety protocols
  • Utilize protective gear in all functions
  • Report equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law
  • Food Handler's card required
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
