Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, providing individualized speech therapy sessions tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive the support they require to succeed.
  • Conduct speech evaluations and screeners to assess students' communication abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in annual reviews and provide progress reports as needed, demonstrating your commitment to student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arkansas SLP license, ensuring you meet the necessary state requirements.
  • ASHA certification, demonstrating your expertise in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Medicaid provider number, enabling you to provide services to students who require financial assistance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
