Your key responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, overseeing inspections, and collaborating with the maintenance team to address any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
- Replaces filters in air conditioning units to maintain optimal air quality.
- Informs management of significant repairs or upgrades needed for the hotel's systems.
- Handles maintenance for heating, cooling, and hot water systems to ensure guest comfort.
- Performs regular preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Maintains Material Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals used.
- Programs phone systems according to hotel specifications.
- Trains and collaborates with hotel maintenance staff in various maintenance areas.
- Ensures high standards for the hotel's interior and exterior appearance.
- Handles painting and repairs for walls, trims, and doors, as well as wallpaper and carpet issues.
- Maintains an organized inventory of supplies necessary for hotel operations.
- Ensures guest rooms meet superior quality standards and checks all equipment functionality.
- Addresses minor maintenance issues and escalates major concerns to management.
- Tracks completed maintenance tasks and ensures adequate stock of frequently used parts.
- Inspects and resolves minor issues in common areas.
- Familiarizes with emergency procedures and ensures safe operation of all equipment.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the role.
- Reports to work punctually and dressed according to company standards.
- Performs additional duties as required.
