POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking to enhance our team with a skilled Lead A/V Technician who possesses extensive experience in audiovisual systems. We offer a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance and a retirement plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct on-site installation of audiovisual equipment for clients, which includes low voltage wiring, equipment rack setup, and installation of various display systems.
  • Execute cable pull-paths and assess structural conditions to ensure optimal installation efficiency.
  • Assist in the programming and installation of AV automation systems for classrooms and boardrooms.
  • Install video conferencing systems and manage audio-video rack setups.
  • Interpret and implement AV system drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
  • Install low voltage wiring and cable, including soldering and terminating connectors.
  • Assemble and disassemble necessary supports and mounts.
  • Perform wall patching as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with relevant certifications being advantageous.
  • Proven experience in professional audio and video system integration.
  • Experience in the structural installation of displays and projectors.
  • Basic knowledge of AV and network testing equipment.
  • Proficient in PC and networking.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
  • Capability to read and interpret schematics and architectural drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

Must demonstrate effective communication skills in English and collaborate with various stakeholders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires regular walking, handling equipment, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to navigate job sites and work in diverse environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
