Senior Survey CAD Technician

CESO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Survey CAD Technician to join our land survey team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the analysis and preparation of multiple types of surveys.

We are a principle-centered organization that aligns with strong service values, integrity, and authenticity. We develop and inspire our Senior Survey CAD Technicians through training and coaching on the job.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Survey Project Managers and Field Survey Crews to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist with the preparation of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, easement exhibits, subdivision plats, oil and gas well plats, and other survey deliverables.
  • Understand civil engineering and survey drawings to provide accurate and efficient results.
  • Prepare 2-D and 3-D detailed electronic maps, drawings, exhibits, descriptions, and records using computer-assisted drafting software (CAD), including AutoCAD and Civil-3D.
  • Perform courthouse and utility research to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare basic legal descriptions to support survey deliverables.
  • Assist in other survey duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in AutoCAD design or related field; 2-4 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Civil 3D experience preferred.
  • Survey-related background and knowledge of survey industry standards and procedures.
  • Valid Driver's License.
