About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at American Family Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting with administrative and clinical needs, including patient registration and medical assisting duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for reading by a physician and radiologist overreads.
  • Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with approved radiology techniques and policies.
  • Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.

Requirements:

An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training. In some states, Medical Assistant Certification or registry, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification may be acceptable.
