Job Summary
This Inventory Control Specialist position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate stock levels at the Everett location. Directly reporting to the Inventory Lead, this position will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy, performing stock adjustments, returns, and validating received merchandise.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing and managing vendor credit notes, including tagging and staging. You will also manage cull-piles for credit or field destruction. Additionally, you will conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Dunn Lumber's core values and understand and observe all safety procedures and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Counting stock and completing inventory counts
  • Running stock checks
  • Investigating stock discrepancies
  • Organizing and managing vendor credit notes; Including tagging and staging
  • Managing cull-piles for credit or field destroy
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices
  • Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with Dunn Lumber's core values

Requirements
  • Competent typing skills
  • Proficiency in general computer operations
  • Positive and collaborative attitude
  • Able to lift/push materials up to 40 LBS throughout the shift

This is an entry-level position with a paid two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.
