Caregiver Specialist Los Angeles

We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

  • SUPPORT QUALITY OF LIFE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
  • PROMOTE HEALTH, SAFETY, AND WELL-BEING IN A CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT
  • ADVOCATE FOR CLIENTS AND SUPPORT THEIR GOALS AND NEEDS

Responsibilities:

  • DAILY ROUTINE PLANNING AND EXECUTION FOR CLIENTS BASED ON INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM PLANS
  • SUPPORT CLIENTS WITH PERSONAL CARE NEEDS SUCH AS GROOMING AND BATHROOM ASSISTANCE
  • PREPARE DAILY MEALS AND ASSIST WITH CLEAN-UP
  • PICK-UP/DROP-OFF CLIENTS FROM/HOME/FACILITY (IF NECESSARY)
  • REPORT INCIDENTS OR PROBLEMS AND COMMUNICATE DAILY WITH ADMINISTRATORS

Requirements:

  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED
  • AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN CAREGIVING PREFERRED
  • DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE YR 1 & YR 2 AND CPI PREFERRED
