Location: Captain's ön Main - Espresso Bar, Pizzeria

Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and energetic coffee specialist to enhance our customer experience. This role is vital in delivering outstanding service and maintaining the efficient operation of our espresso bar and dining areas. The ideal candidate should possess a love for coffee, pizza, and cocktails, while fostering a friendly environment for our patrons.

Compensation:
Coffee Specialist (NO BAR SERVICE): Starting $10 + TIPS
Coffee Specialist/Flexible Team Member (WITH BAR SERVICE): Starting $12 + TIPS
(This position allows for involvement in various roles, including the espresso bar, bar area, food truck, and food preparation stations.)

Key Responsibilities:

Coffee Specialist Duties:

  • Craft and serve a diverse range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Maintain expertise in coffee and tea varieties, brewing techniques, and presentation standards, adhering to company recipes.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas, including the espresso bar, bar, and dining spaces.
  • Conduct regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
  • Engage with customers throughout their dining experience and assist with table clearing.
  • Support food preparation and service as required.
  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Accurately process customer payments using the cash register and POS system.
  • Ensure proper storage and freshness of all food items.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchenware.

Bar Service Duties:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding alcohol service.
  • Monitor customer consumption and manage behavior responsibly.

Flexible Team Member Duties:

  • Assist with pizza preparation and cash register duties at various locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food truck.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks associated with the kitchen and food truck.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new instructions and training.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of mixology and cocktail crafting is appreciated.
