About the Role

D.R. Horton, Inc., a leading homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a skilled Loan Processor to join its Branch Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing mortgage loans and providing exceptional customer service to builders and homebuyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the receipt and processing of mortgage loan files from Loan Officers, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Review files for correct documentation, AU findings, and stacking order, making necessary changes and resubmitting for approval.
  • Submit files to DHI Underwriters and review conditions, making adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records, including Loan Processor, Project to Close, and Timeline Exception reports.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers to resolve issues and ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Attend weekly processor meetings and participate in Quality Control initiatives.
Requirements
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently process and record large amounts of data.
