About the Role
The Primary Care Physician - Cardiology role is a key position within our clinical care team, focusing on the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with suspected or known heart diseases.
This role involves moderately complex to complex issues, where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. As a cardiologist, you will specialize in diseases of the heart and blood vessels, working closely with our clinical team to provide continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention for elderly patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex cardiac conditions, including heart attacks, abnormal heartbeat rhythms, and congestive heart failure
- Provide preventative techniques for dealing with potential heart-related illnesses
- Conduct 100% of time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient-facing time and general administrative time related to direct patient care
Requirements
- Medical degree and 5+ years of residency and fellowship experience
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in cardiovascular disease
- Certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in echocardiography
