About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our Sensors Division team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly of electro-optical and infrared products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly of mechanical and electrical components for customer deliverables.
  • Complete assigned manufacturing process steps, including solder processes as required.
  • Support group objectives for on-time delivery.
  • Verify use of most updated procedures and follow industry standard or practice for 6S.
Requirements
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
Preferred Skills
  • Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience reading & following drawings and work instructions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience demonstrating intermediate computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 2 years experience demonstrating strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Mechanical assembly knowledge.
  • Lathe and Mill experience.
