Role Summary: The Senior Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Program Manager and is authorized to represent the SPM in their absence. This position is accountable for the daily management of the Program Management Office, ensuring effective administration of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements in alignment with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Formulate and execute plans and timelines for contract and subcontract management.
  • Oversee and manage contract budgets, including labor, materials, and travel expenses, while addressing change order management needs.
  • Lead project and financial reporting efforts, including reviews and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Guarantee project delivery within budget constraints and timelines.
  • Provide guidance to project teams, fostering communication and collaboration among members.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
  • Engage with clients and subcontractors to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Monitor client activities and resolve any arising concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate timely closure of completed projects, ensuring all obligations are met and documentation is accurately maintained.
  • Identify potential opportunities for additional work and follow-on projects.
  • Possess a valid State Driver's License.
  • Be prepared for potential overtime and occasional travel outside the local area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the organization's objectives.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree with two years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with six years, or an associate degree with ten years, or twelve years of relevant experience in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of experience managing federal Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price, and/or Time & Material contracts.
  • Four years of experience in the acquisition, installation, and lifecycle support of military command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.

Security Clearance:

  • Clearance up to secret level may be necessary.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Possession of a valid passport is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to climb several flights of stairs regularly.
  • Capability to perform tasks in confined spaces.

Our operations primarily occur on naval vessels, which may involve various physical activities such as stooping, climbing, and walking. These duties may require outdoor work, exposing you to temperature fluctuations, loud noises, and other physical challenges.
