Job Summary

Inova is seeking a skilled Imaging Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of radiation protection and safety principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
  • Coordinate the overall workflow of the department to ensure efficient and timely processes.
  • Work effectively with staff and consulting physicists to ensure compliance with radiation protection and safety regulations.
  • Monitor radiation sources and ensure accurate compliance with NRC and hospital regulations.
  • Provide education and training to staff on radiation protection procedures.

Requirements
  • Associate degree or graduate of an accredited school/program of radiology or nuclear medicine with a valid certification.
  • Three years of imaging experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with experience in an applicable imaging modality.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
