Job Title: Art Instructor

Hartnell College is seeking a qualified Art Instructor to join our team. As an Art Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching art courses to students and contributing to the development of our art program.

Job Summary:

The Art Instructor will teach art courses, develop curriculum, and assess student learning. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Fine Arts, Art, or Art History, or a Bachelor's degree in one of these fields with a Master's degree in Humanities. The successful candidate will also have experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to fostering cultural humility in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Teach art courses to students
• Develop and implement curriculum
• Assess student learning
• Contribute to the development of the art program
• Work with diverse student populations
• Foster cultural humility in the classroom

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Fine Arts, Art, or Art History, or a Bachelor's degree in one of these fields with a Master's degree in Humanities
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Commitment to fostering cultural humility in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching art courses
• Experience developing curriculum
• Experience assessing student learning

Compensation:

The anticipated compensation for this position is $69.85-$83.03 per hour for instructional assignments and $59.60-$70.58 per hour for non-instructional assignments.
