Job Overview

PacifiCorp is seeking a customer-centric professional to join our team as an Asset Performance Manager. This role is responsible for supporting all asset performance-related activities for the T&D organization, establishing and implementing business objectives, strategies, and plans, and managing and allocating financial and employee resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify policies and practices to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Support asset performance-related activities, including analysis of company-owned assets to prioritize maintenance and capital investments.
  • Develop new asset reliability practices and update existing policies as required.
  • Communicate plans, practices, and program updates with stakeholders, including field operations, investment delivery, and field support staff.
  • Present and discuss asset performance issues with senior management, field operations staff, and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with groups to analyze and develop capital projects to ensure high reliability, risk mitigation, and customer service.
  • Facilitate collaborative improvement efforts and review capital projects to ensure prudent investments and technical requirements.
  • Conduct reliability assessments and performance reviews with field operations and support staff.
  • Develop performance analysis on T&D assets and locations to identify major issues and risks.
  • Guide development function with reliability and risk assessment tools.
  • Lead development of new data science models in asset performance.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on assigned asset performance topics and provide technical support and training to less experienced staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum seven years of related experience in an applicable field, with a minimum of three years in a functional or direct supervisory role.
  • Program design skills, including development of interventions, processes, or new or modified programs to meet customer needs.
  • Teamwork skills to provide input into policy decisions and mobilize resources to produce desired business results.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization, including people with different styles and backgrounds, and present alternatives and recommendations.
Preferences
  • Candidates with an engineering degree are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Company's strategic plan, objectives for specific areas, and Company policies, procedures, and practices, as well as federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.
