Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Counsel to provide legal support for our vehicle service and commercial operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in drafting agreements, analyzing legal risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to support our vehicle service operations and third-party collision network.
- Analyze the impact of legal, compliance, and counterparty risks in contractual agreements, terms, and conditions.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to service support teams on internal operational matters and best practices.
- Work closely with internal clients and the legal team on vehicle service and warranty escalations, regulatory compliance, and privacy.
- Support the development of legal resources to drive business growth, including training materials, knowledge repositories, policies, and guidelines.
- 6+ years of legal experience, with a focus on commercial transactions related to B2B products and services.
- Active license to practice law in any state.
- Experience with service, collision, or fleet operations preferred.
- Strong leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to navigate novel legal issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Rivian provides a competitive salary range of $146,000 - $183,000 annually, depending on experience and location. We also offer robust medical, dental, and vision insurance packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
