Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at America's Staffing Partner Inc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our medical services unit, ensuring the smooth operation of our pre-employment physicals, medical consultations, and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule pre-employment physicals, periodic exams, and other medical screenings, working closely with Human Capital Recruiters to ensure seamless communication throughout the medical process.
- Assist with the onboarding process by coordinating drug screenings, ensuring change of custody forms are completed properly, and communicating with the laboratory regarding forms and results.
- Maintain knowledge of conferences, appointments, trips, and telephone calls, reminding the supervisor of such commitments as needed.
- Compose routine and non-technical correspondence based on oral instructions, brief notes, and information readily available in the files.
- Maintain confidential records and handle record keeping with discretion.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and English grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, vocabulary, formats, and policies.
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with others.
- Working knowledge or experience in using an electronic medical records system.
- GED or High School Graduate and Medical Office Assistant training/certification.
