Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our fast-paced Meat department as a Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the daily operations of the Meat department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and wrapping, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the Meat department, by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
  • Support the daily operations of the Meat department by rotating stock, pricing products, and operating equipment as needed.
  • Meet daily production needs and quality standards by working efficiently and effectively to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of fish and seafood a plus.
