Job Opportunity

Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position involves assessing individual fine and gross motor, sensory, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills, creating comprehensive treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's skills and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs
  • Collaborate with psychologists, ABA therapists, and speech therapists to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide small group and individual therapy sessions to children and families
  • Offer family education and training to support skill transfer and development
  • Supervise and develop a team of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as the clinic grows
  • Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience working with children and families in a pediatric setting
  • Prior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilities
  • Masters or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, and licensure in the state of Oklahoma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
