We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Pediatric Private Duty LPN in the Thibodaux area. This role involves providing high-quality, one-on-one care to pediatric patients in their homes, working night shifts.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients and their families. As a Pediatric Private Duty LPN, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.

As a key member of our home care team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing other essential tasks. You will also maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills will enable you to navigate complex situations and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, working night shifts
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current LPN licensure in the state of Louisiana
  • At least one year of experience working as a LPN
  • Current CPR certification
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - 65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive benefits such as:
