Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Payer Contracting to lead the development and implementation of assigned Payer and PBM contracts. As a key business partner, you will work closely with Managed Markets, Legal, and Finance to guide the evaluation of new commercial opportunities and negotiate with external customers and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and edit complex agreements for Commercial and Medicare Part D entities
  • Act as subject matter expert regarding the impact and risk of terms and conditions memorialized within contracts
  • Manage contract compliance and adherence to the approved business case
  • Responsible for the technical and analytical support for payer contracts
  • Provide a high level of contracting support, including drafting and editing contract documents, executing contract documents, and managing deadlines relative to contract expirations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required or 10 years related work experience; master's degree preferred
  • 5 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preference for Managed Markets and/or Finance required
  • Proven track record of leading and driving business process transformation and organizational culture change
  • Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
