Position Overview:

The Chief Pilot will adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations, the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and the policies and guidance outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual.

Qualifications and Prerequisites:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the aviation sector is essential.
  • Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license is mandatory.
  • A current FAA First or Second-Class Medical Certificate is required.
  • Experience with Challenger 300/350 is preferred.
  • Experience with King Air 200 is a plus.
  • A total of 5000 hours of flight time is necessary.
  • A minimum of 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) is required.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate persuasively.
  • Capability to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Customer/client-focused approach.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fosters effective teamwork and productivity to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Conducts thorough pre and post-flight inspections of the aircraft.
  • Acts as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) for scheduled flights.
  • Takes primary responsibility for the safety of passengers, crew, cargo, and the aircraft.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to all passengers.
  • Reviews all service-related items including passenger logistics, refueling, customs, and catering.
  • Prepares flight plans considering altitude, terrain, weather, and navigational aids.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Calculates and verifies aircraft weight and balance, fuel load, and performance metrics.
  • Maintains proficiency and currency on assigned aircraft.
  • Promotes and reinforces the consistent application of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) principles.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements: 12-15 days per month, with approximately 50% being day trips.
