Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction methodologies and procedures, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine project specifications and ensure timely completion.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Determine project resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Plan and schedule construction operations to meet deadlines.
  • Acquire equipment and materials, and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
  • Hire contractors and allocate responsibilities.
  • Supervise laborers and mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report any issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a mechanical project manager.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or a relevant field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
