About the Role

Gastro Health is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reagents and materials for histology procedures
  • Comply with all safety regulations and handle biohazards and chemically hazardous materials with care
  • Perform routine histology tasks, including accessioning, cover slipping, and staining
  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex automated equipment
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of patient samples
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field
  • HT or HTL certification by ASCP
  • Previous experience as a histotech preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
