ABOUT THE COMPANY: Collaborate with one of the largest Aerospace & Defense organizations globally.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to a missile development initiative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance to Supplier Management Teams (SMT).
- Develop electrical specifications, designs, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and schematics for components including but not limited to:
- Electronic Safe Arm Fuse (ESAF)
- Ignition Safety Device (ISD)
- Other critical missile safety hardware.
- Conduct research, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
- Support updates and releases for system and subsystem designs; engage in laboratory testing and evaluation.
- Deliver on-site supplier assistance as necessary for design verification and qualification testing activities.
- Report progress directly to the Program Electrical Engineer Lead.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the following areas:
- Strong electrical engineering background with experience in collaboration with electronics suppliers.
- Expertise in analog and high voltage power systems.
- Experience with high voltage circuit applications.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Background in safety electronics.
