Job Description

Lockheed Martin is a global leader in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration, and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products, and services. Our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate electrical/electronic production failures and determine the appropriate root cause and corrective actions.
  • Hands-On troubleshooting using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment.
  • Understand and interpret schematics and performance requirements related to the GMLRS rocket system and subsystems.
  • Creation of technical documentation describing test failures and troubleshooting procedures that comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.
  • Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans and contract requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
  • Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
  • Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
  • Ability to travel approx. 20% of time domestically.
