Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Ascend Staffing. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials within our warehouse. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
  • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Move materials from warehouse to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
  • Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
  • Perform cycle counts as required
  • Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
  • Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks
  • Identify safety hazards in the workplace
  • Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
Requirements
  • Current forklift license and certification
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience preferred
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to work in the US
