Job Title: Wire Harness Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Harness Assembly Technician to join our team at ElectriPack Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building high-quality wire harnesses for various industries, including truck and bus, mining, robotics, agriculture, and recreational vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble wire harnesses and electrical components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use small tools and machines, such as wire braiders, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, calipers, and micrometers
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and work instructions to perform required tasks
  • Comply with all ElectriPack standard building procedures, including First Piece Inspections, Mid-Process Inspections, Work in Progress Documentation, and Electronic Labor Tracking
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and quality standards
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment
  • Perform quality checks on equipment and products to ensure high-quality production

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new skills
  • Ability to read and write, with basic arithmetic skills
  • Ability to use a tape measure and understand metric and US customary units of measurement
  • Ability to distinguish between colors of wire
