Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at the Lynn Community Health Center. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and evaluating nursing staff, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including clinical assistants and team medical secretaries
  • Collaborate with practice managers and providers to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Organize daily activities of the team, including department flow and staff and resource utilization
  • Review patient records and electronic health records for follow-up care and missed appointments
  • Attend operations, manager, nurse, infection control, and team meetings to share information with staff
  • Meet daily with clinical staff to discuss patient care and team performance
  • Ensure that healthcare standards of care and policies/procedures are consistently followed
  • Provide professional nursing care for the well-being of patients, including taking vital signs, providing wound care, administering medications and vaccines, and providing health teaching
  • Triage patient calls to identify the most appropriate intervention
  • Participate in the development of healthcare goals, objectives, protocols, and procedures
Requirements
  • Massachusetts nursing license
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program (master's degree preferred)
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/Khmer/Russian with knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
  • Desire to work as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team
