Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure expenses are within allocated funds.
  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve equipment or facility issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Manage inventory for maintenance-related items to prevent stockouts that could impact production.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Safety and Environmental Regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, budget utilization, equipment performance, and other key metrics to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge of budget management, inventory management, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Certification in Maintenance Management or related field would be an added advantage.
