This position is located in the Outpatient area of the Boise VA Medical Center, Boise, Idaho. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, identify emergency situations, and administer medications as ordered.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care, including administering medications and performing CPR as needed.
- Identifies emergency situations and reports them to the appropriate personnel.
- Complies with Nursing Service policy/procedure on administering medications.
- Observes, monitors, and reports pertinent data to the interdisciplinary team.
- Documents patient encounters in the medical record.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must have a valid license as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or District of Columbia.
- Must have at least six months of qualifying experience as an LPN or LVN.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
