Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team at Flagship Facility Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our clients' buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform floor care duties, including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extracting, and mopping.
  • Dust and clean tops of office furniture, cleared desks, and surfaces of tables.
  • Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs in lunchroom/break areas.
  • Refill all restroom dispensers as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals.
  • Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors as needed.
  • Perform periodic tasks, such as cleaning overhead vents, dusting blinds, polishing wood furniture, and cleaning interior partition glass.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 30 pounds of equipment and trash.
  • Ability to safely use equipment and tools.
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced office environment with moderate noise levels. You will be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise. Safety glasses are required while performing certain tasks.
