Job Summary

Flagship Facility Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers and buffers.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized janitor's closet.
  • Assist with special projects, such as deep cleaning and event preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies up to 30 pounds.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment:

Our facilities are located in a variety of settings, including small to large office environments. You will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform the following repetitive movements: stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
