Position Summary

Overview: Operates the Point of Sale system, assists culinary staff, prepares beverages, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists in food preparation, including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, as well as catering orders.
  • Handles cashier duties utilizing the POS system.
  • Performs general cleaning tasks, including waste disposal.
  • Provides service across all retail areas, including cashiering and serving.
  • Processes transactions accurately, ensuring cash handling procedures are followed. Makes deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Manages inventory and restocks supplies and food items.
  • Sets up serving lines, ensuring food temperatures are monitored and recorded, alerting cooks if necessary.
  • Serves both hot and cold food items to customers.
  • Prepares items for sale on a daily basis.
  • Maintains stocked refrigerators and follows the first in, first out rule for product rotation.
  • Stocks pantries with appropriate levels of food items daily and records replenished amounts.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
