Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Backroom Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and processing shipments, receiving merchandise, and organizing the Receiving area in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and post delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient shipment processing
  • Compile and organize receiving reports to track merchandise counts and verify accuracy
  • Route merchandise to proper locations and pay expenses in accordance with Company procedures
  • Receive and organize merchandise in the Receiving area, following Company procedures and utilizing equipment appropriately
  • Track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining and cleaning the clearance area
  • Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations to facility management
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy
Requirements
  • Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of job entry date
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
