We are looking for a Project Development Engineer Lead to join our team at Garud Technology Services in the Metro Washington D.C. area.

Our portfolio of customers includes the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Education (DoED), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal, State and Local Authorities tasked with developing and fielding cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead engineering and project plans, including System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) Tailoring Plans, System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and briefings and artifacts in support of SELC technical review gates.
  • Evaluate contractor submittals, including RFI responses, proposals, white papers, technology demonstration plans, and contract deliverables.
  • Support the planning, execution, data collection, evaluation, and assessment of system acceptance tests, technical demonstrations, and other technology and/or systems evaluation efforts.
Requirements and Salary

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 7 years relevant experience and a MS degree in systems engineering. The position requires a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) BI (eligible for or active). The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
