Job Responsibilities

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading pallets from trailers, as well as moving them to designated areas within the warehouse. This involves operating a forklift, utilizing pedals to control a lifting apparatus, and ensuring that all equipment is used in accordance with company and safety standards.

Key Duties

  • Prepare pallets for shipping according to schedule, adhering to strict deadlines and quality control measures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following recommended methods and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents.

  • Loading and unloading shipments safely is a critical aspect of this role, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Picking, moving, stacking, and storing pallets in designated areas is also a key responsibility, requiring efficient and effective use of equipment and resources.
