We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at Eversource Energy. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex cloud platforms related to our Azure Cloud presence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business needs and ensure security and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement reference architectures for cloud-based solutions, focusing on security policies and incident response procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends and apply knowledge to enable new and evolving business needs.
- Consult on technology implementation and modification activities, particularly for new or shared infrastructure solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with technology or application solutions, including experience in architecture, design, implementation, support, and management of cloud technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Security, High Availability, Scalability, and performance management.
- Experience with monitoring tools like OMS and AppInsights.
- Continuous integration, Continuous delivery, and deployment experience in TFS/VSTS.
